Ah, good to know, Hoild. Yes, that makes it more impressive... not bad at all for an original facial structure, Leon!

saehn, veto: In fact the out-of-alignment facial anatomy is a result of welcome progress on Leon's part. Rather than finding a portrait he can 1:1 copy and insert into his composition, he started taking measurements of facial features and proportions on a lot of pictures, then based on this study he constructed a face with the specific features (particular kind of eyes, mouth, nose, etc.) that he wanted for the picture.

Keep it up, Leon. You will improve with practice and can bring your drawing skills on par with your great dithering technique!

Kedves Leon of Chorus Singular Bugkiller Team barátom!!!

I like it, it's an interesting image... will have to view it on a real C64. I hope you continue working with hi-res, it's a welcome change from interlaced modes! The picture does have a few anatomical issues as you noted, but the your use of color here is new and different from some of your other works. Interesting development! :-)

The theme itself is quite stoned. A girl, doing her make up, and a C= logo, in some sort of color-cloud. Coherence? :)

Brave colormixing at some parts.
I'd wish you´d try the NUFLI for sure, it will suite your needs to never return to interlacemode.
If not then please do it in FLI/Multicolor ;)

this is a surprise. it really is. the indirect lighting in the background looks superb and so does the coloring. my favourite is the way you deal with reflections seen here on the eye and the lips. only downer are these bugs you noticed leon. it is a pity because it overall looks impressive but unfinished in parts.
btw thanks for mentioning me for inspiration :)

Again a good hires-bmp artwork..

My favourite part is definately the C= sign and the rounding colours...couldn't be better in MC for sure:)

It is super... you know, due to my work I get some headache issues there, but pixeling free my mind because it is almost mathematichal the touch we do after we have the composition all done. To me it is really free and undisturbed action that are good for my mind... You have created a nice image and execution is splendid.

The background is actually so good that one do not think it is hires at all, and to me that is very good craftmanship in a way because you just see the gradient and do not think of the limitations in this format. Very good! And it is a iconic image too... mood is so nice here!

You should just keept the gray above the eye instead of doing ir light red I guess... that is a place where I think ohhh... yes it is hires... a sprite there with a black contour would just make this absolutely fab... because that eye is so flat and has no details... but then again... in plain hires, super work!

Here is another attempt to pixel in hi-res mode. It took 1,5 days to complete. Thank you Veto for the inspiration! I know, it has anatomical bugs, but my head aches because of pixeling, I don't want to correct it now...
