Text from Old Farts on a Couch

Description:Scroll text
Text: .hello, .and welcome to old farts on a couch!.the 8-bit love-fest at sander's place. .this is celtic of noname/arsenic on the keys and we are having fun here. hein has just forced sander to finish and polish his pixels on his very nice sander logo, mace is busy coding this scroller, sly is re-coding his part from 1990, veto is pixelling a squirrel and mr.sid just ripped a very old charset. all in all it is fun to be on my c64 event since 1997, and i must say it is nice here. no screaming and superdrunk folks, but nice and friendly old farts sitting on a couch and producing data. if all goes according to plan, there will be some nice releases from this day, and i truly hope you enjoy them. sander was very sad that focus was not greeted in the demo by bauknecht, so to make him feel happy again i hereby give some anti-greetings to bauknecht who made very nice demo. the competition on revision was short and no real amazing demos were released, but the guys in dacapo did a few parts. hopefully i get everybody to write something, but most of all i hope we actually finish it. well, i am gonna leave the keys and ask sander to write something, coz he isn't doing anything. here ya go....my turn! .sander at the keys,.finally bring able to sit on my ass after hein chased it persuading me to pixel. mr.sid brought us some great news that our little democonventions will have its sequels in the guerilla games hq. with facilities like a private cinema and a bar - finally bringing facilities worthy of the cause. but for today i'm glad to say this meeting turned out nice with a great weather and a number of 6 rather active sceners..hein's turn! .sander has made enough fun of me already, so i'm getting back to him. the nice croco you see is made by celtic. we're not allowed to use uppercase characters unfortunately, some lazy artist didn't feel like pixeling more characters. too bad. your loss. our loss. world's loss. japan's loss. like i mentioned in the other demo, where's the real text writer? then i'm not sure how much to write, i could fill up this notepad screen with rubbish, as if you'd read it. then i could also copy paste the irc conversation, which i think is just as interesting as my text. like: 'ops, hvala :)'. you can win a logo by sander if you guess who said that. mace will make sure this whole text gets embedded in this croco part, so if you read this, he kicked kickass' ass. not sure if i can pass this scrolltext over to sly, he's fighting the machine as well. we should give him the bionic commando arm to settle his issues with diablo. maybe it's best to pass it on to someone who's not fighting the deadline of time. adios..mrsid on the keys .now... being real nerds we all spent a wonderful day of gorgeous weather inside. that's the spirit! many thanks to sander for organizing a great event at his own place. we trashed up the living room real good. he will have to renovate now. but it feels real good to be on a meeting like this, let's hope that it will be a regular thing. mace is busy coding stuff and fighting with kick assembler. sly is using a real c64 on his lap. veto is pixeling on his tablet pc.
we're having fun! cheers... . hey, veto here. .kind of a spontanious trip to sander, because i could not made it to revision this year. what a good decision this is. meeting is cozy, weather could not been better (not forget to mention that i did not met most of the other sceners before :)). thx sander... sad to miss some key persons tonight who couldn't make it - hope you had a great time in sweden mikael.... .berry (sly/life/riffs) here after .some long years of distraction from the c64 but i am back and a new release from me will (relatively) soon... for now i am trying to finish the intro of this demo together with mrsid and i have no inspiration to type anymore... who is still reading??? anyway catch me on http://c64.berrydejager.com next time... i feel really like sleeping (see you soon amella) but i must give many thanks for arranging this good old fatty farts get-together. greets to my swedish friends! see you later, dudes..ghaaa.... mace here, slightly going mad!. it's 02.48 at night and i want to leave in a few minutes. writing scrolls never was my favourite part of work for demos so although i'm honoured that the last words of this part are from me, i can just tell that it will be a quicky. it's been nice to code a bit of data again, although time pressure was killing me. greets to my pals all over the world, especially stratfor, but let's not forget the guys from the transfer team: mason, mdz and acidchild. more disks coming soon! that was all, guys, gotta take a piss and then i'm off. oh, and to make you all cheer: .tits! and beer! .wrap...
