Thanks Owen! Yes, i used my personal colour palette, more accurate(imho), but in Vice it looks identical. I use "default.vpl" palette instead of "vice.vpl" or any other. link to my palette(click on default.vpl): http://s008.wyslijto.pl/index.php?file_id=02317105495623364042
put it in the vice's c64 folder

It'll probably be a customized colour palette Isildur uses while he draws his graphics. I've noticed a lot of his emulator screenshots does have a very high brightness of colour. All people accept different levels of appropriate saturation - even some just prefer chrome versions.
Anyway... lovely job, Dominik. :)

I like this picture, although I think the more saturated version of the screen dump seen here is a bit more vibrant than compared to a flat setting in the emulator or on a normal c64...
