Handle alternative spelling :
Shockwav3

Handlestory :
Started using Shockwave as my primary handle in 1998, later changed it to Shockwav3, as the correct spelling would always be taken on IRC. Changed it to shock__ (with the underscores being an integral part of the nickname) some time recently.
The 'Shockwave' nickname was inspired by the format of the same name on the alternative, german music television channel 'Viva Zwei'.

Trivia :
I like hardware, soldering and reversing stuff :)

Major efforts involve:
- starting the SSI-2001 reversing effort (PC soundcard with a 6581 from 1988) which resulted in the card being re-issued in 2015.
- currently working on producing a new and boosted Gravis UltraSound for x86 (Prototype: http://i.imgur.com/WPE2PN3.jpg) & re-issueing the PAK68/3 speeder system for 68k based computers (untested layouts at this time).
- Various Commodore related stuffs, see below.

Occasionally I repair or simply enjoy C64 stuff.
C64s repaired in 2015: 8 + 1 SX64
C64 stuffs repaired in 2016: 19 computers, 19 drives, 4 more or less complex modules, 2x 1541 Speeders resurrected (SpeedDOS Expert, Dela Speed1541C)
Owner of "Sawy the 3/4 C64" http://i.imgur.com/yvJLCyZ.jpg (I recieved the board cut up and incomplete like that - restored it back to full operation)
Dela Speed 1541C / SpeedDOS Expert reversed in 2016 - http://i.imgur.com/tHpwnN8.gif (replica grade clone + cleaned up version by me)
