Joe: Maybe it's just not linked/credited that often.

Could have sworn to rememberER it from a Zyron Intro

The Remembers Intro 2
Nostalgia Intro (9 Sprites Intro 1)
Nostalgia Intro #01

But maybe my memory's playing tricks on me as Zyron used other David Whittaker tunes...

Song 2 is an exquisite choice of a simple repeated pattern, transposed a couple of times to form the body of an emotion in a fine way of economy: The bass forms the drums and the general counter. I'm surprised it wasn't used more often.
