PAL, the video below with the PO-20 & PO-28 synths was filmed with a Samsung Galaxy S6 in 1920*1080 60fps, very early in the Summer morning, mounted on a microphone floor stand. The original audio is heard at the beginning and end of the video, but the audio in the middle is sampled from the line out of the synths (since the speaker of the synth has a high pass filter at around 300Hz which makes it sound a little boring). If you listen _very_ closely you will hear a little room reverb. The camera loses focus and, as all mobile cameras do, go wild with the white balance and exposure levels - but it's good enough for a quick YouTube composition! :-D And, yes, Gubbdata 2016 was a great party, and I enjoyed very much meeting you all in such a cozy, banana-filled environment ;) My personal favourites was the P demo, and of course the Nothing but PETSCII Cheers!

The one and only entry in the "other platform music", written by Mahoney using two chipsynths by Lft - PO-20 and PO-28, can be found here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qDGsW43hyx4

I really wish I could've been there. Watching the compo streamed at home isn't quite the same and gives you mixed emotions.

Great party, as always. Thanks a lot!

How you get an invitation to the Gubbdata party?
Asking in case the party is invitation only again next year?

User Comment
Submitted by Mermaid on 3 July 2016
Thank you Hedning and Bepp and all the other organisers for your hard work, and everyone who made things for the compos, making this such an awesome party, and thank you Ziphoid for the great party stream!

For those who are interested, the Amiga music entries can be downloaded from gubbdata.se: Amigamusic.zip

There was only one entry in the Other Platform demo compo, so there was no compo, but it was shown at the party. You can find it on pouet.net:

can some of us come if we have the time from family and all?

User Comment
Submitted by hedning on 1 February 2016
Oh. And it's invite only. I organize this for the local scene in southern Scandinavia, and do it free of charge at my work place. I can't afford people trashing the place, and I need to clean the place myself afterwards. Thus I kind of need to know the guys coming. Oh. And I am sure Gubbdata is good for the scene. If you feel you deserve you come, and you know me, feel free to send me a PM.

About this site:
CSDb (Commodore 64 Scene Database) is a website which goal is to gather as much information and material about the scene around the commodore 64 computer - the worlds most popular home computer throughout time. Here you can find almost anything which was ever made for the commodore 64, and more is being added every day. As this website is scene related, you can mostly find demos, music and graphics made by the people who made the scene (the sceners), but you can also find a lot of the old classic games here. Try out the search box in the top right corner, or check out the CSDb main page for the latest additions.
