Well done to everyone who submitted a tune. Was a lot of fun as I turned up the volume on the hifi, sat back with a beer to listen to all of the entries and transported myself back to 1985. Congrats to the winner Jason Page with "Return To Bass". :)

Thanks to those who voted!
I would say that I enjoyed this. But, the first few versions I wrote were truly atrocious!!! Finally got something that i felt was good enough to release.

Flex - loved your entry especially . Superb work.

Cool entries! I'd say this entry would have been 100% suitable for this compo:

It's "Sound like Rob Hubbard" compo time.

AKA - The sounds like a good idea at the time after a few beers if not I'll delete it compo...

Let's use those old Hubbard sounds from the 80s.
Chirps and cheeps and some Crazy Comets slides too?

Make a SID tune.
Minimum length 1:00.
Must be based on the style of Hubbards sounds pre 1988. No digi.
No covers or remixes of original Hubbard tunes.

Deadline 10 September 2021.

Who can convince us that it is "the lost Hubbard tune" nobody has heard until now?

Have fun!
