COMPUTER`S HELL 2000
Like in the last year, I had some great expectations, when I packed all my stuff at home..
I remembered last year and forgot to look after my pack for party (became bigger and bigger). After 2 hours I had 2 full packages. 4 monitors and a lot of food and drinks. And all into my car, was a bit too much, and I was sure, that I´ll be REALLY ready after that..:)
But it was easier than I thought, with a small delay, OK, I left my house at 12:50 midday...
My aim was Berlin, COMPUTER`S HELL... A very easy drive for me, and after 1 hour driving I arrived...

The building was quite troubling, cause party was organized not far away from a big block of houses, so it was quite strange to find the right one... Imagine, you are in a big wood and you`ll have to find the right three.... But after a short callin`from SILVERFOX "Hey, common!..." I found the right house, it was a big school. Then I started to "depack" all... After half an hour we had my stuff in the 3rd floor...
The room was big enough, a lot of tables!! There were 2 other rooms, where some people might do something... One for sleeping, one for eating, but both weren`t used for that, just for talking, eating and sleeping, all together... They were quite nice, some old chairs, tables, microwave and a icebox!
After some minutes SILVERFOX started to put some papers and banners on some trees and on some good places. I gave him some hints for that...

Hey, 3 guests then, first was MAC GYVER, he contacted us on my hand-phone and told us to come to the station.
Then CHECKY followed!! Then I didn`t really noticed, who came, but the roomed filled!!
Same for the power-outlet, we needed some multi-supplyments...
On the first evening (friday) we just sat arround and talked, watched videos on the big BEAMER, what was just a funny tool! We connected it to one 64 and to a videorecorder. A beamer is just great!!!
Ha, I forgot SILVERFOX`s big hifi-plan, good sound and big boxes, and they had to play a lot of "WELLE: ERDBALL"!!

Oh yes, this eve was quite amazing for some guys in a small car, they wanted to visit the party, but they really drove us and themselves mad, they were just too xxx to find the right place. They got wrong infos from a oil-station, and their card wasn`t good too...But fortunately we had the party-phone! So we were able to teach them how to drive! And after 5 (!!!) hours they arrived.
Puh, done it!

After some minutes BRAINSTORM arrived with some polices. But don`t be shocked, they just helped him to find the place. We had to run a bit to find him (he called us on the phone and said, where he posibbly is...)-It was a school too, but not the right one..:)

Too much troubling, we gone to bed at 4 or 5 am.
But a lot of ppl used the night, the people from TUM arrived with all about 4 members, SCORPE drove us mad with his "small" TFTmonitor, I think he was fed up with our questions "Do you use some glases to see something there?" or "Are you able to see something???"...:)

So, 1st day over, but, where was the time? It ran out so fast!!!
But saturday was just GREAT!! All people arrived, some were quite tired, `cause they drove the whole night...!

After I woke up and moved to the "hall" I was quite shocked (in a positive way!!), all were coding, talking, trying and playing!
Like a real party!

First demos and 4Kbyter were watched and shown!!
Nice was the new demo from SANITY!
But quite nice was BRAINSTORM with his C128D, his ramlink and his super-cpu!! He showed us one small segment from TERMINATOR1, just a very fast depack of about 50 multipics, very nice to see!! Not bad, but it was coded for flash8, so it ran just a bit too fast on scpu, but cool anyway!!
And the time ran away and away, but what should it do else, eh :)
After some people noticed the table-soccer they were just playing it! Later they sat again down to their C64!!

C64, good word to remember, CHECKY, BRAINSTORM and me, we both had the biggest towers, don`t know, why we needed so much hardware...

And the eve came, so we started with the game-compos! We played DAVID´s MIDNIGHT MAGIC, ARKANOID and BOMBMANIA. So we were able to see, who is the best gamer...!
After that we started the democompos. Of course, all was shown on the big wall (thank god we had a videa-beamer!) Quite amazing stuff from TUM, SANITY and RUMPOSSE, and all wrote on their small sheets. Really fantastic ideas, a lot of fake-stuff, but "high quality" ones!!
We voted in a 10 points system...
It was a pity, but saturday was nearly over. But nobody really noticed it, cause we made the night to a real day, the night was REALLY great, we putted up our stuff to an auction!!! Quite amazing, it was really interesting (like science!). Best auctioneer were SCOUP and SCORPE, they bought real shit for real money!!
But sooner or later the people became tired! So I went to bed at midnight, but first after 2 hours I slept, I had a little small-talk in between!

Sunday, atmosphere of leaving was in the air!
Again and again sentences like "We´ll come back next year!!" or "I´ll misse you guyz!!". In my opinion they really enjoyed the party!!
There wern`t so much to clean, all behave quite normal!! Nobody smoked inside the room, they went all onto the fire-ladder, where it was allowed to smoke (5 meters from partyroom!!).
No boxing-tournaments, quite friendly atmosphere there!!
Sure, a bit water and rests of food here and there, but it wasn`t that bad!!
At 1 pm I drove away (together with BRAINSTORM), our ways devided on high-way!

Yes, what to say after that party?
I think it was a success! Same tradition as last year, but more people and it improved!!!
SilverFox plans to make that party next year again, of course, there will be more people, and it will improve more and more...

So, I´ll end with greets to all my friends outa there!
