Symposium+Mekka 98 Partyreport

Yo, at eastern a great party took place, the sym+mek 98 at the 'heidmarkhalle'

in Fallingbostel (triangle Bremen/Hannover/Hamburg). The partydoors opened

on friday 10th at 12.00 o'clock and closed on monday 13th at 12.00 o'clock.

We (Maze/Delirium Bros., Donar/Onslaught and myself, ghost/excess) arrived at

13.00 o'clock at the partyplace, which was already filled with Amiga and PC

dudes, but only very few 64 sceners.

We were feeling quite thirsty and hungry so we decided to go to our car, have

a sausage, roll, and a nice karlsquell.

Officially drugs and alcohol were forbidden, but after 1 hour we already

recognized, that the organizers didn't care a fuck about this. :)

So we decided to smuggle our beer and dope into the partyplace. We met up

with the Metalvotze guys, who were sitting in front of the big screen, and

who were screaming FICKEN all the time...

Also Animalo/Laxity joined us for party, drinking and so on...

This went on the whole friday, and we decided to go to bed at 0.00 already

because we were damn wasted. We realized that the sleeping tent sucked big

time as it was fucking cold in there and one could freeze his balls off...

That's the reason why we went out of bed early in the morning and start with

our breakfast: sandwich, beer, joint. :)

Ok, it was saturday morning and da party had to go on. At Saturday we met up

with the dudes from Plush, and they had many cans of beer with them.

We were smoking some selfmade bongs together with Honk and were quite fucked

at the afternoon again,

After returning to the Metalvotze table, we noticed that Syntax/VOZ was

already drunk and stoned screaming "Ficken" all the time.

He even went onto the stage in order to entertain all the party guests...

He was unable to do anything except for drinking a glass of cucumber-juice

we had given him. Actually he couldn't remember having done this the next

morning.

And then was compo time! There were quite a few cool graphics, musics and

demos for sixtyfour.

Sunday was very much like saturday, being fucked up all the time and then

having fun like hell...

But even though sunday was harder than saturday, so we fell under the table

at 5 O' clock monday morning. But we didn't get very much sleep as it was

compo results time. You can find 'em at the end of this chapter.

Consequently, the party was a real killer, the organisations lacked in some

parts (alcohol, drugs) but the fun compos they invented kicked ass.

A kicking party for sure, so don't hesitate to visit next years Symmek party

as well abd see our party force at the next event.
