Group id #1958 : Newlook

Interesting to note that the trivia of Newlook say it dissolved in 1986, while I found Sailing, cracked by Newlook in April '87.

Any word on that?

Or the guy who entered the dissolve info was wrong in the first place.

Could be they intended to have it dissolved with most members leaving for New Stars, but someone remained.

Hmm, Newlook did stop in 86 and TMC started Scoop in early 87.

I remember that newlook releases stopped in 86.

That's what happened with WWE. Still begs the question: what is the official 'death-date' of a group?

Well, obviously they didn't.

I set the dissolving year to 1986 based on things I read in some release(s?). Can't remember where since it was quite some time ago.

Though Mace made his point concerning data base hygiene some years ago, I don't really see it or did not fully understand CSDb system (who does, anyway).

Free Lance != Group Function

Either we want it this way or not. Only meaningful alternative would be defining scener's function by release.

contra as-of-yet system:
- maybe! harder to spot sceners via some! data base function

BUT!

pro-as-of-yet system:
- not everybody who
... blotched together some code snippets/vexed some tracker/produced some emergency gfx for group X might want to have "Coder/Musician/Graphician" in their profile

Maybe this makes mods think - if they are not too occupied with deleting/unlocking the comments
Soldier of Fortune +9DGIHF

Otherwise it might just provoke some CSDb-Drama, guilty as charged...
