Handle id #2276 : Peet

I was informed by Mariusz/HVSC that Peet could have died few weeks ago. =(
"Péter Molnár passed away (RIP)"
That was written on
https://c64.ch/scenenews/

I see in his entry log the death date was set by Microshark

It is some unfounded rumour or it's the truth? I would prefer some confirmation, maybe someone heard about a different Péter Molnár dying thinking it was the C64 musician.

Confirmation would be appreciated, indeed, so we don't spread false info. Sad news if it's true. :(

Microshark replied:

> Yes, unfortunately I'm absolutely sure, he was a childhood friend :(
> We founded the hungarian Damage team together.

It's another fallen c64 fellow, RIP and condolences to family and friends.

Peet was a founding member of Chorus exactly 30 years ago. I have fond memories of the few meetings we had (he lived 200 km away) and using the means of mail swapping regularly whilst working on demos and stuff, such as our debut 'Revolution' with over 10 tunes by him as the backbone. His music was always tastefully crafted. He was prolific, motivated and never in bad spirits, a really delightful likable personality. It fueled the rest of us who had the opportunity to work with him.
Our ways parted in the mid 90ies, but got in contact for a short time in 2006. He even visited Árok and afterwards we met. He was very busy with life & family, but added, hasn't lost interest in composing, he kept his c64 but it no longer worked, so I gave him a working one.
He was only 48, gone way too soon... Rest In Peace Buddy. ;(

This is very sad news. My former groupmate.
From what I remember we met back in 1994 in Székesfehérvár where Chorus released Revolution.
The work put into this soundtrack was admirable.
RIP Peet! :(
