Hehe guys!
I just stumpled upon this thread =)
Yes I was given the name Jesper Thorning Jørgensen loooong time ago!
When entering my teenage years, lots of people started calling me Uffe. (An even looooonger and crazy story =) )
So after a few years I changed it for real into Uffe!
Got married and changed into Uffe Thorning Larsen...
Later on the Danish system allowed you to ditch your surname and use the middlename as new surname!! I never liked the ..sen surnames !!!
SO i went from Jesper Thorning Jørgensen to Uffe Thorning!
Hope to have cleared up some thing for ya'll =)

Danish law's quite liberal concerning names obviously. In Germany it's just possible to change name for good reasons e.g. if your surname is Fick (German for 'fuck') or Hitler. Some Fick who are known to me renamed into Fink. 8)
You may only add an 'artists name' into your ID; AFAIK. |
