Release id #98710 : DirMaster V2.2 [Win32]
This recently started crashing on me when I try to open any menu. Works otherwise.
Uninstall + reinstall does nothing to improve it and I can't find anything strange in the registry.
It could perhaps be some central .dll that's been "upgraded" but I don't know where to look...
Anybody having similar issues?

I'm using DirMaster almost daily on one of my old WinXP machines with zero issues besides the bugs.
I know The Wiz is currently working on a new version, no clue how far along he is.

Try to delete the following key from your registry:
HKCU\Software\Style\DirMaster\FileMRU
Also, if you could save that key before you deleted, and email it to me at chrismcb@hotmail.com that would be great. |

Hi, deleting that key worked. Unfortunately I lost it in the process so I can't mail it. Will do if it occurs again.
I wouldn't have expected that all menus would cause a crash because of it though.

The MRU list gets rebuilt every time you click on any menu. There is something wrong with one of the MRU entries, and that is what is causing the crash.
I haven't pinpointed exactly what causes the crash. But this code was rewritten for the next version. Which I'm hoping to try to get out in the next few months |

THE WIZ: Any possibilities to speed up development of the new version? We wants it :) I can't get the VICE launching to function correctly (sent you a mail about this before). |
