Geez, is it really that difficult?! ;)

Just feed the 60 bit Galois LFSR with the following initial value:
5996523f9856b9a

The key is easily derivable due to the lack of hashing but if I give it directly then there's really no challenge left.

On the other hand I'm surprised no one added a hidden part solution for Rainy Days yet which uses a much less sophisticated method to hide stuff.

So I advise to go and sleep over it a few more times and eventually you'll figure it out too. Good night everyone.

That was really quick! Soci knows his stuff. Next time I shall have to go non-linear. =)

The challenge is still there. With the help of soci's hints, all you need now are ordinary C64 cracking skills. There are also clues hidden in plain sight, for the non-coders.

I'm still wondering how you managed to reverse that LFSR, amazing job Soci.
And, yes, things are pretty easy with that seed: I can finally have a sleep.
Thanks LFT.

For those in the mood for a treasure hunt:
You have to type something after the endpart. A hint is in the demo note.

Haha, what a nice little surprise. The more I watch this demo, the more impressed I get. Lft for president! :-)
