The theme was inspiring, but I can't say that I care too much about the competition itself. The event's only aim was to have some fun, right? What's the point of putting these productions in an order of significance based on an utterly flawed system?
(JailBird in Master of My Universe entry comments about "in/out of compo")

Absolutely right. We could(!) split mere edited ori koalas from the stuff done from scratch. Imho that's not necessary, though, because for me all entries belong together (that means "in" the compo), as doing something from scratch - only _inspired_ by theme - was also absolutely encouraged.

No idea what we're going to do with the votes, maybe I just declare every entry #1 or some sceners like Mermaid, JailBird, ZeSmasher and Leon form a jury...

Anyway, big fun as of yet on both the hilarious and the art part, so compo's mission is already accomplished.

Maybe some of you have a few more ideas and some time during Easter, that's why deadline Mon night was picked, so I'm looking 4wd 2 some more silly and/or fancy entries! :)

What a fun, spontaneous compo! A big bunch of nice and especially fun entries, makes me glad :) Thanks for making the compo happen, Ryk!

Here's my favourite ten entries, in no particular order:

He-man and Fightingcat Title Picture / Dinasours
‘scii-Man Junior - Title Picture / Lft
He-Man Junior - Backstage / Alakran
He-Man & Friends / Mermaid
Battle Cat Junior - Title Picture / Alakran
I Am The Master Of My Universe / Jailbird
Skeletor Jr. - Title Picture / The_WOZ
Battle damage-Man Junior - Title Picture / Rail Slave
Battle Cat Action Figure / Dr. TerrorZ
Eternia Junior Title Compo Pic / TheRyk

... Thanks for making the compo happen, Ryk! ...

Uhm, what did I do - almost nothing apart from just setting the compo up (instead of blabla about rules until the fun's gone and no one's motivated which is what I felt some years ago in the Compo Pic discussion) and maybe adding some anarchy artistic freedom by "no rules" rule.

EVERYONE's a winner, baby, that's the truth, and voting's overrated anyway (<- I know, there are people who would use more dramatic terminology, hehehe, see latest "Voting sucks" fred) but as you started, why not mention a few highlights myself (in no ranking)

"Inspired by" highlights

He-Man & Friends by Mermaid ruled the PETSCII department, though the other PETSCIIs also made me smile
I Am the Master of My Universe by Jailbird was probably the best true art only inspired by the theme, great colors.
Battle Cat Action Figure by Dr. TerrorZ is an amazing HiRes picture, cleverly coping with the format's restrictions.
Battle damage-Man Junior - Title Picture by Rail Slave has (probably) the most deconstructivist/philosophical impact, who knows...
Battle Cat Junior - Title Picture by Alakran imitates the original's style impressively, would love to see a double screen of ori and this.
What's going on? by Triad just made me LMAO, I had totally forgotten that one and would have never expected such a brilliant C64 version.

"Fun Modification" highlights

Heman and Fightingcat Title Picture by Dinasours brought back the Compo Pic spirit almost as well as He-Man Jr. Compopic by Jailbird.
Planet of the Juniors by The_WOZ is a little far out, but works really well.
Gi-Ana Sisters - Title Picture by Alakran was good ROFL material, another great appearance of Orko.
Skeletor Jr. - Title Picture by The_WOZ: To me it was clear that someone will do this, but this really got the right mix of silliness and accuracy.
It-Man Junior - Title Picture by Smasher was one of the first, came totally unexpected and shocking - in a funny way.
Barbarian Junior - Title Picture by Alakran is another example of a silly idea very well executed.

Special thanks to Shine whose ripping career after too much beer somehow started this.

Maybe we need some rest or some more serious competitions now, there's tons of silly pictures out there for future similar not-so-serious compos xD

Glad to see the back of this compo haha, but yeah it took some bizarre and impressive, 4th wall pulverizing twists.

Alakran steering the ship.

Well done all, may your releases released forever be tarnished !!
