This must be double entry or something else is mixed up.
The adress to Match is the same as stated in the release Contact Demo released by Baboons
Also the same logo is used in Baboons'88 as in Contact Demo |

There must be some confusion on the foundation of the german Baboons, if you look at these entries

they're all dated march 1988, then Baboons weren't really born in march 1989 but 1988.
They refer themselves in scrollers as "the german monkeys", hence it's assumed they were based in german and not danish, but still they were already active in 1988.
IMO there was just one group, based on Germany but with members also in Denmark. |

In ~1990, I met a guy serving onboard a German navy vessel who visited my home city here in Norway.
He claimed to be a membor of the German demo group "Baboons" but in the Amiga devision if memory serves. No idea of handle name though.
Yes there was a lot of Beck's onboard that frigging vessel where we should't have been be onboard at all. Hillarious story ending in the worst possible way imaginable... :) |

Think you have to ask RUN-DMC, he's been ranting the most about Baboons and the Baboons/Sharks/Vision Party. I remember I visited Run DMC in Hofheim, didn't Tim/Baboons live there as well? |

IMO there was just one group, based on Germany but with members also in Denmark.
Considering that X-Ample didn't even exist until July 1988 (the guys were still in Omega 8 and The Electronic Boys respectively in June 1988) I find it hard to believe that Baboons released an X-Ample logo in March of that year. Looks to me like someone mistyped the year in that intro and then linked it to all these releases. |

I checked, and I myself added the info about the founding at Sharks/Savage Party FFM 1989 in the group trivia - can't remember where I found that info, but I assume it was in some party scroller. So this info should be watertight... |
