SDI filters is all over the place

Ok, so I'm starting to get the hang of SDI. but I have encountered a peculiar issue with the filters... I want to have a filtered sound in channel 1 only. Let's say I have the following setup:

F=Filteded, NF=Not Filtered
CH1: F | CH2: NF | CH3: NF
Channel 1 plays F inst. - OK
Channel 2 plays NF inst. - OK
Channel 3 plays nothing

CH1: NF | CH2: F | CH3: NF
Channel 1 plays NF inst. - OK
Channel 2 plays F inst. - OK
Channel 3 plays nothing

CH1: NF | CH2: NF | CH3: F
Channel 1 plays NF inst. - OK
Channel 2 plays NF inst. - OK
Channel 3 plays F inst. - OK

I have tried playing with the "force single channel" settings, and it works as it should when the filtered instrument is playing in channel 3. Am I missing something, or is it only possible to have the filter playing correctly if the main filtered instrument is in channel 3?

Never worked with SDI, but could it be that bit7 of $d418 is setup wrong in your filter program?

Oh... I seem to have located the problem. I forgot to initiate the filter table with a line that defines cutoff, band and resonance, like

01: 80 00 1F 42
02: <filter sweeps or whatever starts here>

Instead, I just entered the band/resonance value directly to the instrument in the sound editor - and that seems to affect other instruments as well. But anywho, all channels play as they should now - and I obviously still have things to learn :)
