Ideas for SID Compos

After the great success of the Crack Intro Music Competition 2013 some musicians are hungry for the next compo. So let's collect some ideas.

How about a compo for CHILL-OUT or LONGPLAY SIDs which you can listen for many minutes without getting on your nerves?

2 voices, only one instrument per voice.

+1 for Waveform $1x compo, so long as I can hammer the frequency.

A 1x player will never unleash the true power of the 8580 ;)

The 1 rasterline music would be a good coder+musician challenge.
Who can squeeze out better sounding tune in 63 cycles?
We had some examples recently...
Maybe it's possible to add some sweep/vibrato if not everything ;)
Of course there should be a memory restriction on the tune to prevent streaming, and the tune should use 3 channel...

I kinda like Hermit's idea, but this is of course from a coders point of view. The non-coding musicians would be locked out. :)

(just like in my own suggestion above)

How about a riff challenge? Pick a famous riff (from SID or pop) and then build a new tune around it?

It wasn't actually my idea, but mentioned here:
Air on a Rasterline

Finding a coder would be a hard work for some musicians, but we could provide a default player for musicians who are not coders (like in case of the Double Screen Graphic Compo)...

I need a new ringtone for my phone ;)

I have used echoes by Linus (very discrete), Robocop by JT, Birdburner by Frantic, Eyes of the Eeast by Jammer (voice 1 & 2 muted), I like Chees by Abaddon and now I use the thief (he eats meat) by Richard Rinn (from 1 minut 42 seconds and on). The tone shouldn't be longer than 30 seconds.
