Entries falsely marked as REU Releases
Just noticed that quite a lot of prods seem to be falsely marked as REU Releases. Has some entry type been renamed to REU Release, which could have caused this, or has someone randomly changed the type of entries? |

Quote: Quoting iAN CooGI already fixed 2 pages of results from advanced search, making sure they were just onefilers and not really reu rls. Or split the releasetype and platform into two fields. In principle the platform is of course always C64 on this database, but since there has also crept in releases for C128, DTV, REU, PC, etc., it might be time to consider a platform field.
We are working on this. A lot of users asked for separating the stock c64 releases (being 1531 and 1541 releases) from the non-stock ones that requires more or less obscure hw. |

I have a stock of C64s, but these stock C64s are not necessarily vanilla C64s.
Anyway... ;-)
You are already using the release type "Other Platform C64 Tool " to distinguish between software that run on vanilla hardware vs. software that need "obscure" hardware to function properly.
Now, do I understand correctly that you're going to remove all old release types for these releases and change it to "Other Platform C64 Tool"? |

No. "Other Platform C64 Tool" are tools that is run on Windows, Mac or Linux etc. Pixcen is one example, exomizer another. I guess you are asking because of the new stuff emerging for the Ultimate. Until we have a specific category, or a flag-system, I believe we have to cosider the Ultimate another platform. It's not the optimal solution, however. I would love to see a flag system instead, but that will take some time to implement, and Perff is the guy to do it, and he is not exactly coding on CSDb on a daily basis anylonger. My main goal is to minimize the "tags" added in the release name and move all of these to flags instead. |

How do you mean the 1541Ultimate, 1541Ultimate+, Ultimate-II and Ultimate-II Plus is a different platform? |

it would be neat if you could filter the different revisions, they are far from having the same features afaik ? |
