Entries falsely marked as REU Releases
Just noticed that quite a lot of prods seem to be falsely marked as REU Releases. Has some entry type been renamed to REU Release, which could have caused this, or has someone randomly changed the type of entries? |

Was REU release actually a release type in 2002? Or is it another category renamed, which could explain the odd choice.
Anyway, just browse the REU release category, and you'll notice there's quite a few releases that are in the wrong category. |

ok, apparently is a db fuckup. I suspect the new REU release type replaced something else, like "dentro" which was also recently removed. I have only a suspect, no proof.
Edit: yes, it definately is the case, *facepalm*

this for example has even Dentro in the name.
I thought that the previously "dentro" were automatically changed to One-file demo type, now we have to manually fix them all *sigh* |

that happens when you remove something instead of flagging it obsolete - in advanced search in "release type" box you can see that "reu release" now has the id that was previously used by "c64 dentro" :) |

Damn it. Good that there weren't that many releases defined as "Dentro" to begin with. |

i'd take the opportunity to remove the REU releasetype as well and put that info in tags. but what do i know :) |

I already fixed 2 pages of results from advanced search, making sure they were just onefilers and not really reu rls. |

In principle the platform is of course always C64 on this database, but since there has also crept in releases for C128, DTV, REU, PC, etc., it might be time to consider a platform field. |
