New Gang 17
Does anybody know French group "New Gang 17" ? When I was in school decades ago, a classmate went to France in holidays and returned with some C64 games. One game has an intro from group "New Gang 17". For details see the following diskimage:

seems to be some intro slapped on by some swapper. the scroll is silly:
"silkworm ", first of all, I want to greet: fredo monnard (me), fcm, 1798 (the best after me), mr.glue," ...
THE BEST and greetings to himself! lol.
not sure if the translation is right:
"if you want one or two of these games. you write to me: frederic monnard (the best) <address removed>! this beautiful demo is for members of the club 'new gang 17'. by fredo monnard from "new gang 17"
I don't think I have ever heard of him or this 'group'.

According to scroll text, that group is from Switzerland, not from France. But never heard of it.

The intro looks like those from the 711 intro-maker and not even a logo was added. |
