You won't guess what I saw
I was out traveling for a week & a half. On the airport (Oslo/Gardemoen) I saw a chick walking around with a handbag with a shoulderstrap. It had a strangely familiar beige/brown color and yes a "commodore 64" logo on it...
I thought I had seen it all... |

It's pretty common hipster wear these days.
Searching online for "Commodore 64 bag" will give you plenty of those.
But yeah, i was kinda surprised and semi-appalled myself when i first spotted one of those (the off-white sports bag kind) in a small-town shop on vacation like... 5+ years ago. =) |

Update:
The Hipster (8-D) chick was around ~25-30 years old, dressed normally (i.e. not naked).
I didn't take pictures or otherwise approach her to avoid becoming "that (inappropriate) guy".
Now all that being said, I can't see for shit anymore so she could have been 45 and be dressed like a vagrant… |

I'm rather hipster neurotic at least since around year 2000 when some bloke in a Hollywood comedy made Atari shirts popular, though the character was around 16 which made it highly unlikely he ever had an Atari or at least knew what it is.
you also see kids running around with cassettes on their shirts though these kids have probably never seen one in their lives :)
Anyway. There's much more painful stuff for the eyes than hipsters gear featuring 8 bit logos or other retro stuff. So instead of frowning about that, let's just be happy. |
