There's just so much more to music than the SID data, like speakers, amplifiers, cables, room acoustics, crowd behaviour not to forget personal state of mind and mood... all factors which can seriously change your perception af a musical composition.

I really have to say that Jailbirds comics with the theme of the normal, hopefully expecting, surprised and pissed off reaction was one of the few winning themes ever and I really think they should be awarded in themselves somehow.
The latest WVL post was also nice.
I was thinking that would go well with the "interlaced" contra "non-interlaced" version of any gfx-man doing a new pic, realising that Crest went even more avant-garde and gained another piece of excellence in graphical output, letting most rest to look quite boring and flickering ;P

there are no sounds, just programs who convert bitstreams to sound. |

Often, the bending of the waves is no good and is for hiding the "not good harmonys"

True, there are obviously frustrated people around, in the past you could bitch-slap them in person, but now there are occasions where i think: "what are you doing here?, go look for counciling".
The idea of doing a demo sounds very appealing, espescially considering we were some sort of adveseries in the past, always competing in one form or another.
I've uploaded what was meant to be the centauri logo editor 2, frankly i don't care it never got released.

i dont know, but... as i see it, in 2009 most of the scene is a back petting community, and i cant say that i like that (and i know that many others agree). telling people that what they did is crap and sucks arse isnt about spreading negativity. its about telling people who made crap that they made crap - and not pet them on the back saying "oh its crap but atleast it has been done on a c64 !!!".

There is nothing wrong with this community in general, there are some really great and respectable people in here with right attitude.
