On the Hunt for Zeus64 Docs

Dear All,

does anybody have either .doc .txt or even a scanned document with the commands for Zeus64?

Any help would be most appreciated.

Regards
Paul.

Good. And that's the proper place for it too. Not CSDb.

So, rewinding back 10 years, as that is roughly when I originally posted this, is the CSDB forums not the correct place to ask about items like this? was the Zeus64 (and C128 version) not used in the 'scene' for 'commodore' during demo coding times? and should it not be put within a 'database' for prosperity?

Please help me understand why it shouldn't be within the CSDB?

Oh, just for reference I'm not being flippant, I've always been on the outskirts of the 'scene' since I was 14, 30 years on, I'm still on the outskirts, and never been as heavy into it as a lot of people around the world. So, I'm just trying to understand.

Because zeus64 is not a scene product but a commercial product and the "real" manual (even if a scan or txt of it) is not a scene product either. The only way to make it csdb-worthy is to type it in a noter and release the resulting prg, but still it's not pertaining the release where it was added anyway.

Thanks for the info, makes sense, as it could potentially lead to 'copyright issues' if someone wanted to be pedantic.

its not about copyright issues - its simply that csdb collects scene releases only. no more no less.

well, I didn't mean it literally like that, what I was meaning, if there is something online that shouldn't be, when it belongs to someone else, it 'could' leave to DMCA's so, if 'commercial' stuff isn't even LINKED then CSDB, whether user mistake or not, can't get in trouble. Make more sense? I get it's scene, no more, no less, as I didn't realize Zeus64 was 'Commercial' as, like stated above, I'm not as heavy into the scene as others. Just trying to have a 'back and forth' conversation, and understanding why, etc.

Sorry for digging out this old topic but since a second crack of Zeus assembler has resurfaced recently (Zeus 64 Assembler) I wonder if anyone has been able to locate original tape/tap file eventually over those years?
