intros.c64.org archive?
Hi,
Is it possible to download (or rsync) the entire archive of intros.c64.org? (a bit like the big zip from HVSC)
I'd like to put it all on a sdcard to put it in my 1541Ultimate.
I tried FTP, but no go. Anyone know other options? (python scripting to batch-download all intros in one go? ... )
Thx for any suggestions! |

As more and more people are asking for it - it's probably time to do it. Anyway let me confirm with the rest of our team (iAN is already here ;)) that they have nothing against that. |

That would be great, really. However I understand the amount of work required to build a proper organized collection ready to be downloaded. |

TBH - with the database and files at local access its trivial to do such things in a script on a regular basis. intros.c64.org nightlies pls! :) |

Yes, files are already organized into subdirs like /a, /b, /c and we plan to keep it organized like that in archive file. As we still have bigger 'batch' updates - nightlies are not needed for now hehe ;) |

I'm a stubborn old school 64er, I know, but I think ripped intros suck. Just my opinion, no need for discussion. |

New update is almost there - it was supposed to be released a long time but we hope to release it at the beginning of November. We are changing update schema to relieve of manual updates and delays caused by them. Stay tuned :) |

@Druid: How come the only Agony intro (from Astoria pack) has never made it yet? ;-P) I can make a separate CSDb release if it helps? |

Apparently Agony never did cracks and crack intros for themselves. Only intros used in cracks are kept on site. |

Yes :) We do collect all other intros (unreleased, non-crack, unused, alternative versions and so on) but as per current site rules - we publish only intros released with cracks. However, I hope that we will release those that are kept back as there are real gems too :) |
