it states

lets break this down
I see an "or" statement here ;)

thus meaning you can release and your group can release..

you group or
0 0 0
0 1 1
1 0 1
1 1 1 (the case I was looking for)

lets expand this statement further

for each compo
you can release an entry separately from your
group, thus meaning group can release aswell ;)

that would be shit load of releases this year \o/ can we handle it ?

that is how I interpret it 8)=)

the rule is there to avoid that one musician enters multiple tunes in the music compo. it's all about common sense and levelling the playing field.
that said, looking forward to your 2 demos :)

I'm going to assume this means entire demo parts or intros. Reusing, for example, one of my old 1x1 fonts should be okay, right?

@Bob, some things should still be a bit of a surprise, but I will tell you one thing: I'd be a bit disappointed if we get less demos than at X14 :)
If all rumours become truth, we're in for a loooooong demo compo :)

This is not the freshest idea, but lets do the ultimate one-file demo. Lets allocate a block per contributer to do what they wish.

If we allocate 16 kb of memory for graphics and data, that will leave 192 blocks of memory for demoparts. That means 192 individual 256 byte demos.

It is half a year until the X 2016. 1 part per day for one person, or 1 day for 192 contributors. What say you?

Why should this be done? Because it'll be interesting to submit the demo to CSDB with full credits :)

But what does scrolling 1 pixel per frame even mean in 4x4? Does it take one second per screen, or four? And is it still 4x4 if each quadrant can contain any one of the 30 pure colours you can get by using PAL chroma blending on colours of equal luma?
