BBS Testing help needed
thedarkside.ath.cx:6400
This is an original, PC-based system written in C# that caters to C64 C/G. It's patterned after C-Net and is being actively developed. It allows multiple callers,(including serial-based callers if you have an actual modem, though that's the least-developed piece)
Currently the new user application, login, last 10 callers, graffiti wall, message bases, text libraries (gfiles), feedback system, sysop chat, inter-node messaging, and online games (pfiles) are done and ready to be thoroughly tested. I have implemented two online games, a Dopewars clone, and Empire (ported from the original BASIC directly). Third-party users can write their own pfiles for this system quite easily (need help documenting the API for this). I have file transfer modules written(that I used in CBMTerm), they should be integrated sometime in the next month.
What I need are a few people who really want to test and give feedback/suggestions for further development. It'd be nice to get some C/G art for the various menus and such, but that can wait.
If anyone's interested, give it a call and leave some feedback.
Thanks!

Just tried it with CBMTerm, get the hIT dELETE: prompt but it only echos a '1' back and doesn't proceed. |

You using an old build of CBMTerm? I used CGTerm, the NEW CBMTerm, Synchroterm, and striketerm on VICE+TCPSer to test from here, all works fine. |
