Stonemen and start of SID composing
Just a ramble.
Back in 1989 and 1990 I started my first band, Stonemen, first with a guitar player and me on drums, later a singer joined, and then Mr.Ammo joined as bass player. :) We did not exist long, as we scattered around after high school, but we keep having a reunion nowadays, here's a playlist of the most recent ones. :) https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=N0FLxTuL0JM&list=PLP26ZYnLb5EXw..
I played in a lot of different bands since, but this old group is one that is great to get back to every now and then and to the old stuff as long improvisations. In those days I also started to compose music for the SID. So double special. I remember playing my sid tunes to my drums teacher. :) He once made the comment: "Why are all of your tunes so serious and "depressing"? " I replied that was simply the way I felt. (in those days I listened mostly to new wave and pink floyd, stuff like that).
Any of you have those old relations that also have a link with the C64 scene? EDIT: (disregarding fellowsceners of course :p)
