pneumonia

Has anyone here had any experience with pneumonia ?

A friend of mine has recently contracted pneumonia.

He's had it for ~3 days so far. He's 62 yrs of age.

He has seen a doctor and received medication, and apparently it's not severe enough to require hospitalization.

My friend is starting to wonder about that, as he says it's the worst he's every felt.

Of course his doctor's advice and medication is his primary course of action.

In addition, have anyone of you used any "home remedies" to aid with the recovery ?
