WinVice & GoatTracker(player) won't run at same time

The play routine in GoatTracker stops if I task switch to a WinVice session.

Same thing with CheeseCutter / Vice.

This on a Win Xp sp3 box.

Some kind of library conflict ?

Is there a windows / vice / goattracker setting to fix this ?

when some app band the soundcard direct, thats bad.
if both use direct x sound, then all can play

Looks like the problem is VICE stealing DirectSound exclusive mode. Try switching it to WMM driver instead of DirectX in the sound settings dialog.
