Synertek VIA oddities - tester needed
due to lack of a better place to ask, i am posting here...
As someone here noticed a while ago, some changes to the VIA emulation broke "bandits" some time after the VICE 2.4 release. I located the problem and fixed it (here, also has some tech details that i wont repeat here), but there is still one question left - are the synertek notes on the VIA actually wrong regarding the related behaviour? or are they actually correct (and as a consequence, "bandits" wouldnt work with those)?
i have written a little testprogram - if you have a vic20 with SY6522 in them, it would be great if you could run it and post the result. the zip also contains a screenshot from the fixed VICE, so you can see how its supposed to look like. you have to press runstop/restore before running the program, as it doesnt clear all the interrupt sources before the test (perhaps i should change that before submitting to vice repo)
