The comment posted by Centrax has been misinterpreted to mean we cracked already cracked games. Let me be clear, we NEVER, EVER, EVER cracked an already cracked game. All games were cracked from the original disks. What I meant was simply we weren't the first to crack the game on the scene. Simply because our parents were in the military and were stationed on a small island that prevented us from getting games on release day. If we had been able to get games on the actual release date we would have been legendary, simply due to how we cracked the games. We created specialized utilities which targeted the copy protection and not the specific game. For instance our V-Max! file copier scanned the entire disk and recursively determined the name of all the files by backtracking from the last sector of the file. This meant we could crack any V-Max! protected game in minutes and instead of days it would take others, because the method other groups used was to play the game until they could discover all the filenames. This is evidenced in such games as ESI's Three Stooges where they were missing files. I will be posting our tools, etc. that we used in the coming days as I get my Zippy drive going for the Kryoflux. |

Crazy Caje - "DSD was the only group that released file copiable cracks that included FastLoaders for 41/81. A lot of the games were re-cracks because lived on a remote island and couldn't compete with the 0day groups. But hey you couldn't beat the quality of our releases." |
