Same source (Gangsterkater aka Batman aka Apostle) tells the story quite different from "True Facts" here:

Though he states clearly FBR Ger was a big disappointment to him (and he blames FBR US for that), there's no word about fake

no, they really referred to themselves as FBR Germany, check fbr_de-03.prg for example.

So.. instead of FBR Germany they should be called FBR [fake rebuild], like Ikari [fake rebuild]
