Its fresh, its synced to msx, its 16:9, its all in one file (how could you manage this big boobs into a onefiler?!) :D
Yes, the msx is allright, could've been better, but anyway it is a gem!

Nevermind, Tom-Cat was so kind to send me a new stock-fix.

As for the demo, bursting with content for a one-filer but I do consider loading a file beyond $D000 needing a loader cart stretching the definition of a 'one-filer' a bit.

I loved the intro swirl and the vector effects. I've seen these boobies before when someone posted a link in a public chat room. It is ripped from a video called "maria has huge amazing breasts". lol
I love the skyscraper scroll at the end, simple but stylish.

Can someone upload a stock-64 fixed version with loader? The link from Tom-Cat is broken.

Yikes! How could I miss writing a comment for this one!?
Firstly, thank you for the many, many nice ideas in here. The dentro is fresh and beautiful (except for the boobs).
Greetings to the nice people in Nuance, it was great meeting you at X looong ago.

My favourite one file demo...
damn you touched on a thing which I wanted to do... defining with fli...
and the boobs... #1 ;)

Hooray 4 boobies!

How could I have missed this one? Maybe too much involved into another party or too big release flood at that time.

However, back to the juggling: The only minimum flaw thing which is not 100% perfect is that the left elbow doesn't fit into the screen.

Everything else ist top notch imho.

Never thought I'd ever say this, but the juggling boobs were a bit out of the place. Everything else is just top notch! A really fine demo.

Great release. Well done! I loved it on the stream. Also, thanks Bitbreaker for sharing your code and writing a codebase article about it. I have added a link to it in the Maths menu.

i just checked it today (a bit late, i know) - and i have to say, that this was a real surprise for me. i love those vectors.
with a little more good gfx (especially in the intro-screen - the fullscreen pic was nice) and a little higher pace at some points - this would be one of the top-demos in 2011 for me (still it belongs to my top 10 2011 demos). but i know - its one file, which is pretty cool. i am really looking forward to your next demo.

ah yes, and r.i.p arman :( nice, that you have used one of his tunes.

@axis Sure might be an option, however x and y are in use in this loop, so no sax here :-( There is potential for optimizations in the twister-part, but timing is easily fucked up and was always nasty to fix :-) Actually it is a FLI every two lines with expanded multicolor sprites that cover the right and left side and thus build the outline + rasterbars. Inside is charset in ecm-mode. Actually the cycles i need for 2 lines of fli appear to be one too much, but it somehow still works. Never touch a running system :-) If you are interested in more details, i don't mind sharing the source with you.

@bitbreaker: I´m not 100% sure what you do in the twister. But a common trick to avoid destroying the upper bits of $DD00 in FPP rasterroutines is to use the SAX illegal opcode to mask and store $DD00.

That's a really nice PETSCII effect, shame it wasn't released on a PET first :)

@algorithm Well, the animations are quite suckless, the boobies use 256 chars (interlaced, so 2 charsets) for 15 frames, i don't even crop the frames, so they can be simply switched by $d018. Exomized size is ~9k. The globe has 24 frames, and uses 64 common chars for all frames, screens are cropped here to save space when being depacked, exomized size is 5k. Startanim uses 110 handsorted symbols of the petscii-charset that are matched against the original bitmap. It uses 15 frames and exomized size is 9k.
More important is to have enough ram free for the twister and cube, where i need each time 2 banks for the line-segments. Luckily they also compress quite well (~8k per part). The vectors btw. fit into less than 4k. The koala fader generates its own code on the fly to save space, and still it is the biggest part :-)
The only problem was always to avoid overwriting of still unshown parts, so i squeezed most of the compressed parts into $8000-$c000, and let the action take place in bank 0 and 2. Also getting rid of the animated parts asap helps a lot.
In fact i wanted to load things first with an irq-loader, but the twister trashed the upper bits of $dd00 to save the few cycles needed to not skip frames. Something the loader was not amused about, at that point i did a try as onefiler, and found out that even as onefiler there is still plenty of space.

Example source for the vectors can now be found here:

I like it. I would go far to say that it is probably the best one filer I have seen with so much content. Loved the boobies and great hires vectors. What type of packing scheme are you using for the animations. I know they are vq based.

It is probably worth mentioning that the startup effect is rendered in c64-romchar, no sprites, bitmaps or custom charsets are used! ;-) It's these little things that make this demo stand out, very well done, Bitbreaker!

What a surprise. Great demo, great vectors and nice boobies. Also kudos for squeezing this massive amount of content into our beloved breadbox at once.

Very nice onefiler. I am impressed with how you have managed to squeeze everything into memory, I mean intro-swirling-innertube, rotating world and bouncy boobs all must be pretty memory-demanding animations!

Oh, and supernice vector routine as well!

Version that loads from disk (used SS5 ...) ... no fastloader either so you can load on real c64 using SD2IEC, IEC2ATA, uIEC, etc. devices :

what a cool demo! the first vectors and the color/layout is fresh! and the twister, just wow

and featuring barman's most interesting tune yet. still miss the coffee'n cigs.

my only prob is that u cannot load it on a stock 64 due to being over 202 blocks. partyversions ftw

Some rather nice ideas in this one: A fusion of the 90:ies-00's in a retrospective with new compression tools.

I'd love to see the future of this, set with the fattest sound from Poland, a realtime speech synthesizer from Sweden, some algorythmic maths from the UK, put in use by some Hungarians and graphics from Finland or Germany, all designed by the Dutch, inflated by effects from the Norwegians and Danes :)

@Digger
Yes, the vectors are realtime and in the case of the cube they run at ~25fps. Actually the reason for this part is, that the stuff from codebase64 didn't convince me, so i just tried to do it better. This is the result :) I already put a tutorial on codebase64 some weeks ago, but will add the full source for the vectors as well, now as it is released.

And yes, it also bothered me that it is a few blocks too big, but it also bothered me that i had too many bytes left in the uncompressed case, so i did the worldglobe part to fill the remaining space. Sorry to bring some into trouble with that decision. I'll do a version with loader then to make all happy.

The Boobs were good :D
..as was the scroller below.

I liked the End Part

The large spinning globe was the most impresive part for me.
Something like this would make for a good part selector.

@Bitbreaker: Are the hires filled vectors realtime? How? ;-)

Cobra Mk.3 *and* tit juggling - what more could you want? A "marching cube", perhaps? Great stuff! Fitting all this stuff into one file is impressive!

Minor niggle: you should add a fastloader to the disk image.

Skate: Yes, there are actually too many parts for a onefiler - try loading the demo without a fastloader. ;-)

Vectors were my favourite as well.
