Come on guys, agreed this is a rather no frills tune compared to alternative fuel but its awesomely funky!
And the solo is just mind bending!
Just remember how we all cried in joy at the musiccompo during that solo:-D

| Definately not Jeroen's musical highlight, but he deserves some namevoting for a change. Jeroen's brakes are unbeatable, his creative use of simple (but spot on) musical ideas proves he doesn't need much more than this to get us going. |

Sorry to disappoint you, but the tune actually IS doublespeed. Only the rastertime display in the lower part of the screen is active, the one at line 52 in the upper half for some strange reason isn't. ;-)
Simply had to investigate it as the drum sounds and the vibratos just sounded too much like it, I couldn't believe it was singlespeed only. |

Jeroen: first of all, congrats of making anything for C-64. Listening to it now at home, does not make the blownup, but at the party time - nothing could beat it.
This was actually the only tune, that played correctly under the volume and bass overdriven conditions.
Secondly, it played like multispeed. Can someone kill me, please?

Wut? This is singlespeed? Didn't sound like it! 8) Really nice tune, extremely precise instruments as always from JT. Not an immediate favourite of mine like Alternative Fuel was on X2k6, but I guess it'll grow to be one soonish once I listen to it more often! ;-D
Kudos for making this in an assembler, is there anyone out there that still composes like this? 8) |
