Nope sorry, I use a selfmodded version of the JCH-editor.

@Dane do you use SDI?

@Dane, yeah i know, but i just wanted to show that they just sampled some old records and put robot voices on top. Your cover versions have more work and effort put in than theirs. i loved Daft punk a lot before i found out about the original samples. Sorry if it was out of context.
ps. The Tron OST by Daft Punk is really good. :)

Fatfrost, that doesn't make a lot of sense in this context. For RAM Daft Punk used one sample only (on Contact iirc). If you think the rest of the album sounds 70s-inspired it might have to do to with the fact that they've used many of the session musicians from that era in order to recreate a lost sound that they love.

Anyway, enough of my spamming and back to composing again.

You'll have to wait a little bit longer, I'm afraid. But soon.

..what Dane said. Hmm, i wonder if he can resist, being a true DP-fan and all. Some of the lead sounds are really great though, very distinct and it's brave to use square-wave totally without pulse-width sweep! But i assume you're not the last one to get lucky ;)

not bad as covers go, esp. if it is a new composer.. I think it is a bit harsh for my ears and a very slightly longer attack on the lead sound might help?? .. could see it used in an intro , with 2 scrollers alternating speeds for sure. the ending.. would be good if it faded out though..

nice for a first try, but not in par with the masters, song is only recognisable for me at the first verse.

What A great F'n Cover man! And for it being your first, WOW!!!!

Nice work.. I hope you (ahem) "get lucky" with your 2nd music...

PS.. Do you take requests?

I respectfully disagree :) It would feel like a twice-told joke, even with Dane's obvious fine skills, even if it most surely will be a nicer version.

Way too rough for my taste, I feel the original deserves more polish. And maybe I should...hmm...hmm..

Done. Is the musician entry correct? Shouldn't be "Kompositkrut" and "Andreas" his real name?

I absolutely love this cover! It's intense, raw and the SID sounds really suit the tune. Better than the original! :)
