In fact they ARE alone. 90% of those compassionate FB buddies won't do anything more than displaying their affection via their wall, sitting comfortably on couch ;]

@Jammer: sure, all those things you wrote don't help to solve the problem, but I think those help anyway to bring some comfort to the victims and inhabitants, to show them they are not alone. my 2 cents...

Doing production to express compassion for all victim is always and undeniably noble. But it doesn't help them. Putting flag on your FB mugshot doesn't help them. Writing 'Je suis Paris' doesn't help them. And all of the above don't change a thing and factual situation at all.
