few more comments on this:
- it highly reminds me of Vincent Merken's works, "Xdressing Bruce Lee" in particular (one of my alltime faves, so that's very much a compliment)
- the progression is deceptively simple after all o_O i thought the passing thirds are minor (which would make the sequence all-minor, which in turn is rather rare), but they are ALMOST MINOR, namely sus4/7- :D
- standing on the top of the charts with a tune containing so few technical gimmicks is an outstanding achievement and i love to see the scene showing such appreciation for purely musical substance <3 (hopefully) |

| now this takes a different (and better imho) approach to pleasing the audience: instead of simplifying anything, it starts off a harmonically advanced sequence and repeats it to death, so everyone could understand and appreciate :) |
