Thank you for the 1 bit protocol version you added @gregg. It helped to make my life easier with 1571 writings. Pity you don't have any visual guide of the disk writing progress.

i just added d64plgin0.00 i think its the latest version(i dunno where i got it, i forgot). the version number is a bit strange it just show up like 0.00. i have used it alot, it work very well and it is faster than the kernal version of the writer plugin.

I'd like a plugin that works the other way around: write a floppy to D64.
And it should be faster than using a XE1541, otherwise there's no need...

I added a variant of the D64 writer which uses a 1-bit protocol instead of a 2-bit one. This works fine on 128DCR, but is somewhat slower (yet still a lot faster than the Kernal).

It was once published by Kratznagel, but due to almost no feedback at that time never made official.

First test on my 128DCR is GOOD !!
Used the 0.92 version, and changed the rom from 128DCR (1571) to the original 1571 rom that I found on the web.

I'll post more soon as I tested more.

I know that 128DCR uses CBMDOS 3.1 and 1571 uses 3.0 ?!

This is what made my XE1541-cable obsolete. Will there be another, and perhaps faster, version of this plugin?

Added two downloadlinks (Kernal).

The Kernal-file uses kernalroutines and is a bit slower, but more compatible.
Should work on all C64, C128, 1571, extraordinary 1541s and NTSC-Hardware.
Thx to MacGyver for the info!

Don't work on 128D CR, hangs up after 4-5 tracks..

Works on C64 + 1571

Hi Kenho,
just try version 0.92. It originally was released to fix one little bug which appears on SX-64 machines when showing the requester screen. Perhaps it works on your C64, too.
