I'd like a plugin that works the other way around: write a floppy to D64.
And it should be faster than using a XE1541, otherwise there's no need... |

I added a variant of the D64 writer which uses a 1-bit protocol instead of a 2-bit one. This works fine on 128DCR, but is somewhat slower (yet still a lot faster than the Kernal).
It was once published by Kratznagel, but due to almost no feedback at that time never made official. |

First test on my 128DCR is GOOD !!
Used the 0.92 version, and changed the rom from 128DCR (1571) to the original 1571 rom that I found on the web.
I'll post more soon as I tested more.
I know that 128DCR uses CBMDOS 3.1 and 1571 uses 3.0 ?! |

Added two downloadlinks (Kernal).
The Kernal-file uses kernalroutines and is a bit slower, but more compatible.
Should work on all C64, C128, 1571, extraordinary 1541s and NTSC-Hardware.

Don't work on 128D CR, hangs up after 4-5 tracks..

Hi Kenho,
just try version 0.92. It originally was released to fix one little bug which appears on SX-64 machines when showing the requester screen. Perhaps it works on your C64, too. |
