Remember being blown away by the big ball a long time ago, but I forgot which demo it was. Now I finally found it by looking through a lot of random demos. \o/ And it's still totally uber-awesome.

This is a very cool demo. Those fillers are quite something. I was wondering how this could have been only #7, but then I saw the year 2000 results. Must have been some demo compo back then.

that ball is unmatched yet, I've checked the code a bit, but I cant tell how it is done, but an eor filler is involved, and a weird routine plots pixels :)

Wow, that painter of curves is really impressive! Surely the guys at Andromeda would like to see such an homage to Nexus7.
