Yep, though there is a "Press space to load the game" message in the scrolltext, even if there's no code to handle it...

The scroll in the intro is like a cracktro with crack date, upcoming releases and so on. Mystery solved. Thanks !

Maybe because this is just a demo and not an actual crack? =)
The file "DEMO 1" is a crunched version of the "KUNG-FU MASTER" file, nothing else. There are no loading code (no calls to $ffba or $ffd5 found) or keyboard/joystick checks in the demo, or better there are some jsr $ffe4 but it's never reached code.
The file "KM" is actually the main file from Kung-Fu Master but with all bytes xored with $41, after decrypting it I see it has sysline and scrolltext changed by "TEDDYBAER", so it's even a recrack, but really, no idea how it could be loaded by that intro
