Nauseating, but I mean that in a good way. This story gets you thinking.
The human mind can be disturbing. Food for shrinks. | User Comment Submitted by Sledge on 27 September 2012
Revisited this just the other day. It's damn good! If only Hollowman could spend 100% of his time on this machine instead of real life boring stuff.. we want more! :D | User Comment Submitted by Jak T Rip on 3 April 2011
This is the best story based demo on the C64. I always liked both themed and story based demos and wished there were more of them. | User Comment Submitted by Frost on 24 July 2009
This allways leaves me with no feelings at all and I don't know if I like the feeling of having no feelings, and that is good.
This is a good contrast against regular effect driven code porn demos.
Surely I will enjoy this demo every time i watch it, again and again. | User Comment Submitted by NecroPolo on 24 July 2009 User Comment Submitted by null on 2 March 2008
weird demo, and it still confuses me. I like it a lot, though. hollowman for president! \o/ | User Comment Submitted by psych on 2 November 2006 User Comment Submitted by Jucke on 23 September 2005
I was at LCP when this demo was competing and it surely wasnt a crowdpleasing kind of winner demo. I voted this second, but just a few weeks after the party I watched this again and I really have to say I changed my mind. This demo is a true masterpiece from Hollowmans mind. I love personal demos that has a bit of a introvert feel, and this one is very interesting. Even non data people get impressed, the graphics and music would carry it alone. If you look for the odd artsy demo with a message, you will fry this onto a floppy and paint it with a special colour. | User Comment Submitted by Frantic on 29 August 2005
Just great. I seldom like demos thoroughly. There is always something I get kinda disturbed by, but this one made it. | User Comment Submitted by Style on 27 August 2005
wow....disturbing...atmospheric... Im slowly converting from a 'tech' demo guy into a 'art' demo guy..... | User Comment Submitted by TDJ on 26 August 2005 User Comment Submitted by Hate Bush on 10 August 2005
It is coherent. It sticks. And that's what's missing in every other LCP2005 release. | User Comment Submitted by Sledge on 9 August 2005
You know how to create, Hollowman! Really nice indeed! | User Comment Submitted by JackAsser on 6 August 2005
Very good stuff! I really like that Frankie Goes to Hollywood reference and the car animation. | User Comment Submitted by Radiant on 6 August 2005
I didn't like the music at the compo, but today it feels a lot more solid. Yet another Hollowman trademarked demo. Could have used one or two more effects, but on the other hand, the subtlety are a large part of these demos. | User Comment Submitted by Dane on 6 August 2005
Eerie and nauseating. I don't know if I should run from you or hug you Hollow. | User Comment Submitted by Serio on 6 August 2005
The darkly beautiful work of an autistic, damaged child. Good. | User Comment Submitted by fade on 6 August 2005
brilliance on all parts, fairlight owning once again in as many days. Fantastic work by goto also.! | User Comment Submitted by Scout on 6 August 2005
Let's not hope this is Hollowman's autobiography ;-)
Anyway, me like! |
