deekay, there is a clear rule telling everyone (<- !!!) how to handle this. there is no point in arguing, everything was said 100 times before. why there should be a new entry? eg because this file wasnt released on 27/12, the previous file was. why its not pointless? because now half of the comments belong to a completely different file. *sigh*

oh well, i have done it for you: click

so sue us! ;-) In this case it's pointless and there's no need for a new entry, this is not HoXS64 or some tool.. Also, as long as CSdB doesn't support versioning, it just looks AWFUL when checking some profile!

argl. will people ever learn to create new entries for different releases? *sigh*

"During the part more or less random values from the sinetable are used for the "melody" since there's no rastertime left for anything else"

hah, awesome :) the transition from the drum and bass in the intro to the eerie "melody" works surprisingly well.

This would look so cool in a game. Not just for a game's intro but also for the main game itself. Incredible effects.

Yeah!! This is *teh* shit! When Crossbow returns, he does it with full power :D.

And yes, the only thing we can do now is to wait for the 160-version by Pernod. ..and that's gonna take quite some time i guess :P.

Splendid work. Nice to see this slightly different version than from the one Cruzer gave us back in his Y.K.T.R#02 (and the likes... )

nice trick, music plays before the affect and after that player calling is stopped but sounds still durate.

Even if it's just a single effect, I felt happier than seeing all X'2008 releases. That's called "The Crossbow Affect (Effect?)" :)

Nice work dude, although to be a bit on WVL's side his was using the full height of the screen. Anyways, I guess we now have to wait for my bro to do the per-pixel variant (i.e. 160 bars). If it follows the same trend as the horizontal twisters then it's just a matter of time. :)

Now with music! Enjoy! (well, the first part at least! ;-)
During the part more or less random values from the sinetable are used for the "melody" since there's no rastertime left for anything else, so no, that part is not Linusses work! ;-D

Cool idea in the begin of the demo, i like that, more C64 demos should play around with the Internet issue. :D Great logo and amazing animation of the bars.

Too bad about the (current?) lack of music... but another impossible thing made possible, nice presentation and great logo gfx!

2-3 rasterlines? You wish, man! ;-D I think after i had xbow to open the border to cut off the bars in order to atleast add a vague hint of "design" i don't think there's more than 5 *cycles* left! <:-)
I did propose adding a music during the introduction that leaves the SID oscillating at the end, but xbow wanted to release it really urgently, and none of our musicians was available...

very nice =) no music is a letdown for me though, even something very simple (which wouldnt use more than two or three rasterlines) would spice it up a LOT, imho.
