"The Killer" of a Demo at these days, even.. | User Comment Submitted by Sith on 20 March 2017
I always liked AEG's 'raw' style effects. They're great for the SID techno that usually accompanies them and just the thing if you're feeling trippy.
I wish there was a bit more polish but I'm not complaining. I am allergic to typos though. The one at the beginning is blatantly obvious. | User Comment Submitted by celticdesign on 24 March 2013
missed this one... just wow.. :-) | User Comment Submitted by Dr.j on 3 January 2013
First time i see this demo today
and i have a slight feeling it was
somehow missed by the c64 major community . absolutely one of the top most best demos on the c64. awesome deisgn , strong coding and great soundtrack. fuckin' killing demo | User Comment Submitted by Stainless Steel on 14 March 2009
Thumbs up for AEG and his peeps. Given, i'ts not EoD (then again, what is?).
AEG's code is solid. The design is good and the soundtrack works very well. It would have deserved some better GFX. I like the typfaces though.
Nothing mindbending, but still top notch!

I liked this demo a lot. I'm just a casual viewer who doesn't give a fsck about how recycled the effects are. All together it went wonderfully and the soundtrack is one of the best ones out there. | User Comment Submitted by FATFrost on 28 October 2008
AEG i always love your demos, the amount of effort you put in is amazing! I wish all others tried so hard. I hope to see a new demo v.soon!! | User Comment Submitted by 6R6 on 23 May 2007
Cool! I dont care about recycling. AEG has done alot of crazy routines on the c64. And I like it! | User Comment Submitted by null on 23 May 2007
Unlike most people, I actually liked it... maybe the gfx are not top notch, but that actually fits with the style of the demo... some effects (the one in the screenshot and the 'plasma fountains') I already saw being previewed on Oxyparty. (okay, not officially, but I've seen it and I couldn't wait untill the release).
Was a bit too bad that the plasma looked choppy... well, it just diddn't seem right anyways... and also the blue twister... it kinda fell out of place between the rest of the gloomy and darker gfx. | User Comment Submitted by Jak T Rip on 14 April 2007
Very cool take on including effects into graphics: many effects are embedded (even dimensionally) into gfx or the gfx reach into the effects, some improved and known AEG routines (I love the vectoranim-player used in the beginning and in the nessy part). A good one, but a little unpolished (and I don't mean the typo in the beginning, this one I actually like..) eXecute overdrive I like bettre. Smash Designs for wolrd leadaship! | User Comment Submitted by CyberBrain on 10 April 2007
Nice demo. The pics overlaid with an effect looks very good. Loved the "state of the art" intro! :)
I don't usually like static pics in demos, and there were a bit much of that imo. It was also a byte like
much of it was seen before. | User Comment Submitted by HCL on 9 April 2007
We are Booze Design. We own teh InduStriaL. We own Kanji. Do not fuck with us. You suck! | User Comment Submitted by SoNiC on 9 April 2007
damn, also the music has a little problem on some instruments at the middle part.
seems that the relocated version made them audibly.
i will fix this for hvsc! | User Comment Submitted by Zyron on 8 April 2007 User Comment Submitted by Intensity on 8 April 2007
@2flow: you have spelled wolrd wrong. Didn't you have english lessons? It's wrold :D | User Comment Submitted by Richard on 8 April 2007
This was hell of a cool demo. Some nice graphics, very amazing effects (like in any Smash Designs demo) and ground breaking soundtracks. | User Comment Submitted by Scout on 8 April 2007
Yeah...well...
I guess everything is said about this demo .
A great dissapointment in my opinion.
It would have satisfied me more if it had better (or non-wired) graphics. | User Comment Submitted by Twoflower on 8 April 2007
A wolrd of technology is a hostile wolrd, and a wolrd without too much polish. I'm glad to see that they are into recycling in this wolrd, though. | User Comment Submitted by Skate on 8 April 2007
I like Smash demos and I respect AEG but I'm afraid after many years, there is not much improvement. I liked the new ideas and effects but rest was so 95ish. | User Comment Submitted by hollowman on 7 April 2007
most of the gfx were sloppy and too much effect recycle but the effect in the screenshot looked good. | User Comment Submitted by jailbird on 7 April 2007
That nasty spelling error right at the start clearly represents how unpolished and austere the Smash demos usually are. | User Comment Submitted by Ed on 7 April 2007
/.../we are living in a wolrd/.../
Despite the sloppy and hasty work in the intro text, with one of the most common spelling errors, it was a entertaining demo with some wonderful screens!
