I mucked up the date on the entry - fixed now (for the last time!). I originally put 1991, but Style thought he'd seen it the year before so I 'corrected' it. Just goes to show I should read my own scroll texts lol.
And yeah, the pic is a complete waste of the technology; it's a 74x200 any pixel any colour mode, so I really should have put the time in for some decent artwork.
But yup, it's true. I released this one well before I saw anyone else do anything as 'finely sliced' :) |

Is this really true!?!? a FLI-stretcher in 1990. It's f**kn unbelievable!! Megastyle and Crest released their FLI-stretchers in 1997, however the latter is claimed to be made in 1993. Still 2-3 years late compared to this.
The gfx it totally ugly though, and doesn't at all make use of the possibilities with FLI. Only one gfx-bank is used, and there the MSI and Crest effects have a major improvement + they also make use of the d800-colors.
C-Jam, are you sure about the dates here!? 15.Feb-90, but in the scrolltext it's written something about 12.3-91. |
