Where is the point of plain scanning? The sketches lose quality and it looks crappy.

What HCL said. Nothing against scanning own handcrafted stuff, but atleast do a touch up on it afterwards. Although with those wierd ass gfx modes i reckon it might be hard to do.

Conversions obviously, but the originals are also quite obviously self made and hand made. You are talented, but i would be even more impressed of you obeyed some standard c64-gfx formats.
