Please DO release the mod converter, if only to piss off Groepaz. :)

SID like I never heard it before!
Quite some decent SID tweaking on x this year! Vicious Sid is clever as ever and I think it sounds even better than part one.

Personal moments:
-Fantastic collection of sprites, Pex!
Programmer's reference guide! :)
- The loader owns.
- I love electric's pic and how it is presented.
- The music when the female space pic is reused in my favourite.
- Love the "char thrown to screen" effect

Great demo in a competition overloaded with great things. CHORDPLAY&SAMPLES ROCK!

Nice Demo, amazing sid stuff ;) but our 15,6 khz beats yours ;) need to fire up the competition here 8)=)(allthough we unfortunately fucket it up at the compo) but a fix is out now :) however you did have a sprite fx for the 15,6khz and that I bow for (salute) good work, we know how difficult it is to do anything during the 15,6 khz... you can't do much there.. this tracker stuff... hmm interesting ;) we will keep an eye on the sampling stuffs from you in the future, we have competition here I C ;)

fun entertaiment at party to shout the names ;)
nice to talk to you guys at the X, hope to meet up with you again...
C some of you at DS 2013 ;)

Biggest hilight for me when watching this on the bigscreen was "Shout the name of the game". That was fun. PARADROID!!

There is a secret song at the center of the scene, gentlemen, and its sound is like razors through SID's.

Oh come, you can hear its faint echo right now...
This demo is here to turn up the volume. To press the stinking face of modern soundchips into the dark blood of its own secret heart.

Ps.. just wondering.. who made the graphics in the part displaying " The Side B, Protracker mods on C64? ..."

Had to just compliment that one as I love it!

Walk out of the door and it is jungle out there, and it should be so. Not my business to say what people do or do not. Give them a hammer and they'll have hammer time.

Ah so a mod converter is a cool thing, but converting mods isn't a cool thing? :)

I agree with groepaz. Releasing the mod converter will result in hundreds of mod conversions classed as a release.

What could I say? This is a musicians' demo in the heart and I'm a musician. I can't (and wouldn't) help that so this one won the demo compo for me @X2012.

After burning a LOT of time with traditional SID torturing, this is a jawdropping experience. Hats off! Kudos for the visuals, too. I really enjoyed this one.

Really amazing stuff, SID wise. As demo it has it deserved place, I see the demo Ninfa/Leve64 also higher than this. When there would be a compo category "Tech" than you sure did win.

Where I get all I need to do tunes with all you did show in this demo? The music-editor, the software-sample programm and all I need to make a tune!? Or is this secret? :) If all tools available, than also a tutorial would be nice. I ask me if I can sample from PC VSTI synths to VICE 2.3 ? If I make a .wav file from a VSTI synth and load the .wav to your sample programm in VICE 2.3?

I love the old SID tunes and the sounds, but sometimes you want to do something new, with new technologies. The coders do that, the graphicians do that, why not the musicians? ^^

Even though I am not familiar with the tech behind the music, there were several parts with great music, image distortions to the sound, and interesting sound fx.

Congratulations all for the new SID inventions in particular the single channel chord method. This demo should be classed as a milestone in SID achievement(s)

@Jojeli: I'm from the evil crew that has given 7 to this prod. To me, it's 11/10 if I have to judge the technics achievement, but let's look upward to see that this prod is tagged under the "demo" category. To say the truth, I still dunno if I would assign 7 or 8, just I would point out that '7' is neither a misjudging nor a tragedy :)

This was a great co-op of scattered fragments from the graphic-artists made into this fantastic sid-torture. One could only imagine the full potential of these fantastic routines spread around in the future. We all love artwork, music, sound and consistency.

I can't believe some people have given this a mere 7. Polyphonic chords on a single Sid channel?? That alone is worth a perfect ten. And The 15KHz sample part... I stared at it for a good few minutes. Awesome Sid porn. :) Oh and the reverb part... Beautiful.
