There was a time when I attempted to track down all the C64 trance sids.. That attempt failed because, well, there are a lot of freakin' sids! haha. I'd say rare like "guitar trance".. A proof that a danceable SID trance (how many available?) is possible with relatively simple SID sound spread tweaks - but a trance tune cannot just compete with a single traditional oldskool tune?
