Oswald: are we looking on the same picture? Leon's planets have shadows where they simply do not belong (e.g. the red planet's semi-upper left side) they suddenly break and reappear seemingly from nowhere - whilst the lighting is random and inconsistent (which is one of Leon's usual mistakes, and I'm not the only one who noticed that). The planets in the distance seem OK, the front ones do not.

Tags aren't broken, you just don't know how to use them :)

does this look like a sphere to you?

Yes, it does. Note the shadows/lights. There's a difference between a round sphere and a flat circle.

Lights/shadows do not work like on Leons picture, even on planets.

But just as I said, since the motif is cartoonish, who cares really. The image is cozy anyway, my personal #1 from the party.

Jailbabe - if FOV is narrow, everything should be more flattened, right? ;) At least based on real optics :P

"the whole concept of the image is unrealistic,"

indeed, since when do we see cats sleeping on clouds in space ? Leon, pull your act together!

Jammah, those planets seem to be close to the other and the field of view is shallow, so IMO they should look like spheres. On the other hand, the whole concept of the image is unrealistic, so I'm just nitpicking to piss off Leon, as always :)

But in the end, I'm just a clueless hillbilly who obviously knows shit about art, so don't mind me, I'll see myself out ;)

Jailbird - planets in reality also seem a little flat due to the light scattering in atmosphere :P
