Personally speaking, I had the same issue, January wasn't best for me: back from holidays and quite broke. A pity the party has been cancelled. Any chance you guys can just move the date?

Maybe you're right, Dr. Science, making a party in january isn't the best date, some people blamed on use, we have not spread the idea of the party enough but that's not true...

We posted it everywhere on the internet, we opened a new website with 2000 visits, a Facegroup group with 1700 visits and a invitation Intro on the C64 with over 250 downloads spreaded on the X (Invitro from AFL), a youtube video with over 600 clicks in my channel and much more. I think, that's enough...

What a pitty....Demoparty = new Demos released ;-)
Maybe doing a party in January isn't perfect. A lot of people take vacation end of december during holidays and only come back first week of january. So a party just a few weeks later isn't that easy.... But that is just my personal opinion.

Hello and welcome to this important note.

On the X2014, we in Alpha Flight announced our "30 years back to planet Alpha" party in Brunswick / Germany from the 17-19 january 2015.

We hoped to celebrate a big party with our best friends and to make some competition. To make registration easy, we opened the website http://www.alphaflight1970.de with all infos and a site with a list of people who were coming to the party.

We got a lot of emails were people telling us to visit the party, but no one of these people are registered on our website.

The registration on our website is the official visitor list, no emails or posts in a forum.

Today, the list of visitors is too small and we see no reason to start the party and with this note, we want to inform you that the party is OFFICIALLY CANCELED!

We really hoped to make something special with you all but with the actual amount of visitors, everything is to expensive for us to start the party. We are very sorry for this decision but we are not in the mood anymore to start a party for a small amount of people.

Of course, we wish you a happy new year 2015 and a good flight...

The Alpha Flight crew in 12-29-2015!
